Preguntas frecuentes
Which Los Cabos venues do you work with?
We work throughout Los Cabos, including Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal; Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection; Four Seasons Resort Cabo San Lucas at Cabo del Sol; One&Only Palmilla; Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort; Chileno Bay Resort; Montage Los Cabos; Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort; The Cape, a Thompson Hotel; and Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas — as well as the farm-to-table estates Flora Farms, Acre, and El Huerto. And as the destination grows, so do we: we welcome celebrations at Los Cabos’ newest and arriving addresses, from Amanvari and Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, to Park Hyatt, the St. Regis, and the openings still to come.
Can you plan our wedding in Europe?
Anywhere your heart is set. Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, Lake Como, Paris, the south of Spain — or a countryside estate that hasn’t been discovered yet. We don’t keep a fixed list of destinations; we keep a fixed standard. The formula that has carried our studio from Los Cabos to Hong Kong to Costa Rica is the one we bring to Europe: more than two decades of design and production experience, joined with the finest local talent in each destination.
Have you produced weddings beyond Los Cabos?
Yes. Our studio has produced celebrations at Mandarin Oriental, New York; The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong; San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara; Montage Laguna Beach; Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita; Rosewood Mayakoba on the Riviera Maya; and a private estate in Costa Rica.
How many weddings do you accept each year?
No more than eight. Every celebration receives the founders’ full attention — the same senior involvement from the first conversation to the last dance.
What does working with Elena Damy include?
We are a full-service design and planning studio. Elena leads creative direction — concept, palette, styling, and floral design — while Carlos leads planning and production: venue and vendor selection, budget management, timelines, logistics, and on-site coordination. Both disciplines are led personally by the two founders.
Who will actually be with us on the wedding day?
Elena and Carlos, personally — never a junior team sent in their name. And from the morning of the wedding, a dedicated coordinator becomes the couple’s shadow: arriving with the hair and makeup team, keeping the getting-ready timeline effortless, and staying beside you through photos, first looks, and family portraits, while Elena perfects the final details of the decor and Carlos runs the logistics so that everything is flawless when the guests arrive.
Do you offer floral design?
Floral design is one of Elena’s signatures — the studio began as a floral atelier trusted by America’s most celebrated planners. The floral vision of every celebration is always Elena’s own, brought to life with the finest artisans in each destination, so the flowers feel of a piece with the setting, palette, and mood rather than added on.
Do you have experience with religious and cultural ceremonies?
Yes — we have designed and produced Jewish, Catholic, and non-denominational weddings, celebrations that weave two cultures into one weekend, and ceremonies from many other traditions. But we never plan from a template. We become experts in your wedding: the rituals your families hold sacred, the ones you want to reinterpret, and the moments that belong only to you.
Do you plan weddings for all couples?
Yes. We plan and design weddings for all couples — brides and grooms, brides and brides, grooms and grooms — and our portfolio includes them.
Can we have a legal ceremony in Mexico?
Both paths are open. Most of our couples choose a symbolic ceremony in Los Cabos and complete the legal paperwork at home, but we are glad to coordinate a Mexican civil ceremony when couples prefer their marriage to be official the moment they say “I do.”
Do you plan the entire wedding weekend?
Yes — as standard. Welcome party, rehearsal dinner, the wedding day, farewell brunch: we design and produce the full arc of the weekend, so every event feels like a chapter of the same story.
Do you handle guest logistics?
Yes. Room blocks, rate negotiations with the resort, ground transportation, and the guest details that make a destination weekend feel effortless. (Guests book their own flights — everything after landing is ours.)
How far in advance should we begin planning?
Most of our couples begin nine to twelve months ahead; peak dates and the most sought-after venues reward starting earlier. We have also brought beautiful celebrations together in as little as four months, when the right venue has the date and the couple can stay flexible.
What is a typical investment?
Every wedding is bespoke, and the investment varies more than most couples expect. The venue, the level of production and décor, the entertainment, the caliber of the photography and film team — and the guest count itself, since a more intimate list means fewer guests sharing the fixed elements that define the day — all shape the number. Rather than quote a range that would be wrong in both directions, we begin with a personalized conversation, so we can build an estimated budget around your vision and be certain we are the right fit for one another.
How do your fees work?
Our fee reflects the number of events, the number of guests, and the complexity of each celebration — which depends on your vision and the logistics of your venue. It is quoted transparently, and one conversation is usually all it takes.
Do you work with high-profile or privacy-conscious clients?
Yes. Our studio has served public figures, athletes, and events as sensitive as the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Los Cabos, always with complete discretion. When confidentiality is part of the celebration, it is handled as carefully as the design.
What languages do you work in?
We work fluently in English and Spanish, and we are accustomed to guiding brides, grooms, and guests traveling from around the world.
